The quarterback room for the Jets just got smaller. Former Jacksonville Jaguar Quarterback David Garrard knee has been swelling after every pratice so far with the Jets. Garrard feels as if his limitations that he has will not benfit him or the teaml. Garrard has also told two of the Jets teammates that he is done from certain reports.
When it comes down to the Jets they are now down to Mark Sanchez, rookie Geno Smith, Greg McElroy, and Matt Simms battling for the top QB spot on the Jets. Some reports feel as of right now Geno Smith could be leading this Quarterback battle. No word is official on the Jet’s end that David Garrard has officialy left the team.
More will be announced either later today, or tomorrow if Garrard left the team.
