San Francisco authorities are investigating a sexual assault case involving San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree. Police state that the alleged assault occurred in a San Francisco hotel room after the 49ers’ victory over the Green Bay Packers last Saturday night. Crabtree was interviewed with his attorney present and hasn’t been arrested or detained for the crime. The San Francisco 49ers are withholding comment at the time and want to wait until the legal process is complete.
Michael Crabtree made the trip to Atlanta for the 49ers’ NFC Championship game against the Atlanta Falcons, and he will play in the game. They’re going to need him. Crabtree has been a huge part of the 49ers’ passing game throughout the 2012 season. He even caught two touchdown passes last week against the Green Bay Packers. Hopefully, he has nothing to do with alleged sexual assault.
