Andy Reid Becomes Chiefs New Head Coach

Andy Reid

The Kansas City Chiefs have announced that for Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid will become their new head coach. This announcement came through the team’s twitter account. Both parties reached a deal on Friday. The deal’s length is about five years. The deal also gives Reid authority over football decisions. His deal came hours after the Chiefs announced they had parted with general manager Scott Pioli after four tumultuous seasons. Reid spent 1999-2012 as the Philadelphia Eagles head coach, leading the Eagles to the playoffs nine times during that period. However, Reid never went to a Super Bowl during that period. He’s going to take over a 2-14 Chiefs team with hopes of finally winning one.
