The Baltimore Ravens have elected to not activate LB Ray Lewis for Sunday’s game against the Denver Broncos by Saturday’s 4 p.m. deadline. ESPN sources say that Lewis tried to convince Ravens Head Coach John Harbaugh to let him play, but they decided it would be best to give him one more week to heal. Lewis has missed the past seven games with a Triceps injury. The Ravens are going to have to find a way to beat the Broncos without him. With a win, the Ravens will clinch the AFC North and will get closer to a possible first round bye. However, a loss will keep the Bengals and Steelers in the running for the AFC North, and it will help the Broncos and Patriots’ chances to for the bye. Things are certainly getting interesting in the AFC.
