Jason Babin released from the Philadelphia Eagles

Today the Philadelphia Eagles have released their starting defensive end, Jason Babin.  Andy Reid said that Babin was released to provide playing time for younger players.  Could there be more than just “giving the younger players a chance,” like locker room problems or problems with other players?

Last season Jason Babin recorded 18 sacks but this season he has had a drop off with only 5.5 sacks recorded.  This season the Eagles only have a total of 18 sacks. Only having 5.5 sacks could be part of the reason to why he was released.  Jason Babin being released from the Eagles will not solve their defensive problems.

Where will Jason Babin go now?  Maybe teams like the Tennessee Titans, Denver Broncos or New England Patriots.
