Michael Vick OUT, Nick Foles to Start vs. Redskins

*Update* December 4, 2012. The Eagles have decided to start QB Nick Foles for the remainder of the season.

The Philadelphia Eagles starting QB Michael Vick will be forced to sit out this week’s game against the Redskins with a concussion. That leaves rookie QB Nick Foles to start on Sunday. Vick was injured against the Cowboys during the 2nd quarter, and he was forced to leave the game. Foles would come in and play pretty well all the way up into the 4th quarter.  Eagles head coach Andy Reid said Foles did a good job filling in for Vick. Reid emphasized that Vick will remain the starter when healthy, but if Nick Foles starts winning games for the Eagles, you can expect Vick’s concussion take a while to heal.
