Peyton gets 400th TD pass as the Broncos beat the Steelers

Looks like Peyton Manning is back to his old self – running the no-huddle offense to perfection and orchestrating a balanced offense that was backed up by big defensive plays to help the Denver Broncos beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 31-19 in Sport Authority Field at Mile High.

One of the key offensive plays in the third quarter in which WR Demaryius Thomas catches a 71 yard pass for a touchdown helped Manning to become the third quarterback in NFL history to reach 400 career touchdown passes; the other two are Dan Marino and Brett Favre.

The Broncos put the game out of reach after cornerback Tracy Porter jumped a route on the sideline and ran an INT back 43 yards for a pick six that gave Denver the  31-19 lead over the Steelers.

Note:  Broncos safety Rahim Moore might face a possible fine from the league for the helmet-to-helmet hit on wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders in the third quarter.

StatsPeyton Manning:  19-26 for 253 yards and 2TDs

Willis McGahee:  16 carries for 64 yards

Demaryius Thomas:  5 receptions for 110 yards and a TD

Von Miller:  4 tackles and 2 sacks
