Denver Broncos sign Prater

Kicker Matt Prater signs a 4-year contract with the Broncos.

Prater’s agent, Frank Bauer, had been working for a multi-year contract for the kicker and Prater did not participate in the team’s offseason program after being franchise-tagged that was worth $2.654 million.

John Elway, the Broncos’ Vice President, tweeted that Prater has developed into an elite kicker in the NFL and is a big part of the team.

According to the Denver Post, the Broncos offered Prater more than $3M per year.
