The Cincinnati Bengals have signed RB Dan “Boom” Herron to a four year contract according to to a report from cincinnati.com. Herron, their sixth round pick from Ohio State, averaged 4.9 yards per carry last year for the Buckeyes. He is 10th on the school’s all-time rushing list with 2,869 yards, and scored 33 touchdowns in his Buckeye career.
Last year, as a senior, he was named the team’s MVP and served as a captain in spite of the fact he missed five games due to suspension.
This leaves both 3rd round picks WR Mohamed Sanu and DT Brandon Thompson as the Bengals’ only unsigned draft picks.
