The Chargers released OLB LaBoy

After the Bolts drafted outside linebacker Melvin Ingram with the 18th overall pick in this year’s draft, it was no surprise that LaBoy would be the odd man out; San Diego released Travis LaBoy on Monday.

LaBoy joined the Chargers in 2011 as an unrestricted free agent; he started in 14 games where he accumulated 47 tackles and a sack.  He was drafted in the 2nd round by the Tennessee Titans in the 2004 draft out of the University of Hawaii.  He also played for the Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers.
