The $1 Billion dollar Stadium Bill was approved by the House and is now on it’s way to the Minnesota Senate. If approved by the Senate, the Bill will be passed onto State Governor Mark Dayton later this week for final say on whether the Vikings will have a new stadium. Another snag with the new bill is that the House approved the bill that would have the Vikings paying $532 million towards the new stadium, which is $105 million more than what the Vikings were willing to pay. But if this bill does get passed the Senate and the Governor, they don’t have much of a choice in terms of declining on the new terms of this bill. They can sit down with the committees and negotiate the $105 million dollars in which they are unpleased about but they cannot afford for this bill to die. If that were to happen, the Vikings could be seeing themselves in a different city as early as next year.
