A player representative for Nick Collins does not expect a decision to be made on Collins’ playing career until after the draft. The Green Bay Packers have a dilemma on their hands. Since Collins’ decision will be made after the draft, the Packers must go into this draft as if Nick Collins won’t return to the team. It causes an inconvenience as the Packers will most likely look to draft a Safety within the first three rounds. It’s a pretty high price for such an uncertain situation. If Nick Collins were to make his return, the player the Packers draft at Safety would most likely sit behind Nick and learn the position. He would also be an insurance policy in case Collins suffers any other injury.
