Miami Dolphins Sign WR Legedu Naanee

Wide receiver Legedu Naanee has agreed to join the Miami Dolphins on a one-year contract, his agent tweeted Tuesday.

Naanee played for the Carolina Panthers in 2011 after spending his first four NFL seasons with the San Diego Chargers. His 44 receptions for 467 yards for Carolina last season were career highs.

It was no secret this off season when the Miami Dolphins suddenly traded their all star receiver Brandon Marshall to the Chicago Bears for just one pair of third round picks. The odd part about it at first was that Miami had originally payed two 2nd rounders for Marshall, but now with him gone, the #1 receiver posistion is now open in Miami, but do not expect Legedu Naanee to hold that title.
