Reports are circulating that the Jacksonville Jaguars are willing to trade back from the number seven spot for a team who is interested in trading up for Texas A&M’s Quarterback Ryan Tannehill. Ryan Tannehill is arguably the number three quarterback in this draft behind Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III. Teams who still haven’t pulled the trigger on a quarterback in free agency are the Browns who are drafting 4th overall, the Dolphins at 8th overall, and the Seahawks at 12th overall. Tannehill’s stock is drastically rising and is projected higher and higher on credible draft boards. The real interesting scenario that’s being mentioned is if he will draw enough attention with the Browns that they would consider drafting him 4th overall. If that would happen, then all of a sudden teams who were interested in trading up with the Jaguars would have to trade up with the Vikings. And the cherry on top is that the GM for the Vikings has already come out and said he would entertain offers for the number 3 pick. So when it’s all said and done, is Ryan Tannehill really going to get drafted 3rd overall? If this scenario were to happen, it would be safe to say that the top three quarterbacks in the draft would be drafted at picks 1, 2, and 3.
