Saturday NFL Notes: Manning travels to Arizona

-Peyton Manning visited Arizona to meet with Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt. Reports have said that Manning’s meeting with the Broncos went well and they are continuing to talk.

-The Atlanta Falcons signed former Seahawks linebacker Lofa Tatupu, he could replace free agent Curtis Lofton.

-After being released by the Giants, Brandon Jacobs could stay in New York and says he’s open to playing for Rex Ryan and the Jets.

-Alex Smith expects to get a deal done soon with the San Francisco 49ers and remains confident that the two sides will reach an agreement.

-Steve Hutchinson, Anthony Herrera and Cedric Griffin have all been released by Minnesota, this will save the Vikings $13 million next season.
