Sanchez remains a Jet, signs three year extension

The New York Jets won’t be signing free agent Peyton Manning, after Mark Sanchez signed a three year contract extension. He still has two years left on his rookie contract and will remain a Jet until 2016. Sanchez said “To find out that I’m coming back for 3 more years means so much to me. I’m absolutely pleased to be a Jet.” The deal is reportedly worth $40.5 million with $20.5 fully guaranteed.
