Peyton Manning and the Indianapolis Colts Part Ways

Peyton Manning’s time as an Indianapolis Colt is officially over. The Colts are not willing to pay Manning his $28 million dollar option and will release him before the March 8th deadline in order for them to save that money. They can reallocate the funds towards defensive needs and possibly bring in some free agents. Manning is set to become a free agent and rumors are circulating that teams like the Redskins, Dolphins and Cardinals are highly interested in the future hall of famer. Peyton Manning will hold a press conference tomorrow, March 7th, to address his future in the NFL.
